Instant thoughts on the official trailer for Jurassic World Dominion!

I know I know, right now you’re probably thinking, “They’re still making movies about dinosaurs?” and the answer is yes, yes they are but who cares!

Universal Pictures finally gave us an Official Trailer for the conclusion of the Jurassic franchise , Jurassic World Dominion. Now I don’t know about you guys, but I didn’t even know they gave us a trailer. Heck, it was barely even trending on social media. This leads me to believe that people really don’t care about this film or…the NBA trade deadline was more important. Regardless, I can’t wait for this to come out and you can count on me being there front and center when it hits theatres later this year.
So, here’s what I think….
I’m excited, geeked, hype! Although the trailer didn’t give us much to work with, I’m ready to get back into the dino-world and constantly think to myself, “See this is why we leave stuff ALONE!”. Now, I think I speak for all of us when I say that we are MORE THAN ready to close the book on the Jurassic movies. However, I think this will be an fantastic conclusion to an epic franchise. Mixing the old with the new, we got to see Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles as our beloved Jurassic Trio alongside Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and newcomer DeWanda Wise. Since the plot of the movie isn’t made revealed in the trailer, one can only hope that the humans figure out a way to live in this new Jurassic age. However, if it’s all hands-on deck, this might be the toughest challenge either crew as faced yet. Assuming this is the case, the movie might just be worth-while for fans to sit through but if it’s not…well those box office numbers might not hit as hard as we think.
Also in the trailer, we were able to see some some fimilar dino faces but in a different light. Blue is a mother now, we got raptors and t-rex’s in…Spain? Hm. I guess life really does find a way. Oh! And can’t forget yet ANOTHER mutant T-Rex. You’d think Dr. Wu would chill out on that by now but my guy just can’t help himself. Man, you hate to see it!

So what do we think happens here? Will humans find a way to live amongst these creatures or will one have to go extinct? I guess we’ll have to see.
…but that’s just what I think.
